Students and families looking for help completing the 2017-2018 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are encouraged to attend this workshop. INvestEd Team Members will be at Hamilton Southeastern High School to help families complete the FAFSA on the Web or answer any questions a family may have.

Seniors should bring all the necessary paperwork, including your tax and income information (for both students and parents), and file the 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the Web. Ben Davis High School juniors and their parents are encouraged to attend this informational session on financial aid and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). INvestEd Team Members will provide information on what to expect when completing the FAFSA on the Web and discuss the various types of financial aid available.

INvestEd will discuss critical steps seniors need to take as they finalize their college choice. We’ll talk about next steps in the aid process, comparing financial aid award letters, various loan options and answer any questions families may have.

INvestEd team members will present to seniors and families what to do now that the FAFSA has been filed. Some of the topics will include comparing financial aid offers from various colleges, available loan options, and how to view any FAFSA issues that need addressed to maximize federal and state money.
