John Boner Neighborhood Centers hosts INvestEd to share steps in accessing and funding college for its CNA students. We’ll talk about searching for scholarships, filing the FAFSA and other pieces of the financial aid puzzle.

INvestEd and other community members will help 9-12 grade 21st Century Scholars ensure they are on the right track with their Scholar Success Activities. Maintaining eligibility in this excellent state grant program can help student access college with less debt!

Students and families looking for help completing the 2018-2019 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are encouraged to attend this workshop. INvestEd Team Members will be at Pike High School to help families complete the FAFSA on the Web or answer any questions a family may have.

The 2018-2019 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the main focus of this presentation to seniors and their parents. INvestEd Team Members will review the FAFSA on the Web and look at the various types of financial aid available. We will also help families complete the FAFSA and answer any questions they may have.

INvestEd will be at Pike High School along with representatives from various colleges and universities. Visit our table to talk about financial aid, pick up some scholarship information and get answers to your questions about paying for college.

INvestEd Team Members will present an evening session for Pike High School Seniors and their parents. The event will include a discussion on the types of aid available from both the Federal and State governments as well as a full discussion of the 2018-2019 FAFSA on the Web.

INvestEd Team Members will join representatives from 21st Century Scholars and Purdue University to talk with students and families from Tippecanoe and surrounding counties about college planning and paying for college. The topics of the discussion include picking the right major and college, scholarship search tips, and the various types of aid available.

The Center for Leadership Development (CLD) is hosting a College Readiness Workshop at the Eastern Star Church and INvestEd will be there to present on critical steps students should take to finalize their paying for college plan. We’ll discuss reviewing the Student Aid Report (SAR), comparing award letters, understanding loan options and more!
