INvestEd will assist seniors and parents in reviewing their Student Aid Report (SAR) output from the FAFSA as well as outline the critical steps they need to take to maximize their financial aid, compare award letters and understand loan options. Students that still need to file the FAFSA can get help as well.

Students and families looking for help completing the 2017-2018 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are encouraged to attend this workshop. An INvestEd expert will be at Western Boone High School to help families complete the FAFSA and answer any questions a family may have.

INvestEd will meet with families and students at Eastern Greene High School to discuss the paying for college process. Picking the right major and college, scholarship search tips, types of aid, comparing college costs and the FAFSA are some of the topics that will be discussed throughout the evening.

INvestEd will be available to assist students and families with filling out and submitting the 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Families should bring any tax and income information for both the student and the parents.

INvestEd will present an evening session for the New Albany Community Montessori. The event will include a discussion on the types of aid available from both the Federal and State governments, the FAFSA process as well as common errors on the critical financial aid form.

INvestEd will then help families actually file the FAFSA application to ensure completion.
